Introduction to Whitewater Kayaking.
New to whitewater? This course is designed to give you the confidence and fundamental skills you need to start paddling rivers safely and independently. Starting your journey in white water kayaking is incredibly rewarding and opens the door to endless fun and play on the river.
We'll cover the essentials of river reading, ferry gliding, eddy turns, breaking in and out, river safety and choosing your line — all in a supportive and enjoyable environment. You'll leave with a clear understanding of what to practise next and a plan for progressing your paddling.

Whether it's picking your line, breaking down rapids into bite size chunks or pulling a smooth drive into an eddy, we have you covered and will give you the tools to keep developing these skills long after your course with us has finished.

The jump up from grade 3 to grade 4 can be quite a daunting one. On our grade 3/4 skills courses we give you the tools and knowledge to take your existing skills and adapt them into more advanced and difficult environments.

Ever looked at a wave on your way down the river and gone "I wonder what that is like to surf"? Sat in the eddy whilst your friends are tearing around on a wave, because you weren't sure where to start? How do I get my tail down and whip that tailie round? With this course, we can answer that question!
We will look at how we catch waves, control our boats around them and use eddy lines to make it all look effortless.

Freestyle for Fun.
There is nothing more fun than cruising out onto a wave, spinning around, throwing some tricks with a massive grin on your face and then high-fiving friends in the eddy before doing it all over again.
On our freestyle for fun courses, we set up the environment where fun comes first and falling on our faces is cheered and celebrated. We look at everything from surfing waves and holes to spins, blunts, loops and much more.

White Water Rolling Development.
The roll is one of the most useful skills we can put our time into learning and developing, but it is one of the skills people practice the least. With our rolling development courses, we don't just look at different drills and types of rolls, we look at how we set ourselves up for success and randomise our practice to create a roll that works across a range of situations, rather then when everything is set up and manufactured.
If you want to gain confidence in your roll, this is the course for you.
