The White Water Adventure Academy is the culmination of years spent travelling and working in the outdoor industry around the globe, honing the skills and expertise needed to give people incredible experiences in truly beautiful places.
Joe's love and passion for all things paddling has kept him coming back to the rivers for over 20 years and he loves nothing more than getting to share that passion with as many people as possible. If you see him in an eddy, head over and say hello.
Based in the beautiful Scottish Highlands, we offer courses and adventures that are tailored around you. Whether you want us to take you on an adventure or give you the skills and confidence to lead your own, we're here to help you get more out of your time on the water.
Not based in Scotland? That is no problem, we regularly offer courses and adventures all across the UK.

Having come to paddle sports in his teens, there hasn't been much that has kept Joe away from the water and travelling around the world looking for adventure. With a passion for everything that floats and a dedication to giving people the skills and support they need to achieve their goals, you couldn't be in safer hands. As our head coach, you'll see him out delivering the full range of courses and adventures, as well as getting out on the water every chance he gets. See him on the river? Go say hello!
